Connecting Shopify gives you two things: product reviews from your store, and a customer list that stays current on its own.

Connect it

  1. Open the connections area of your workspace and choose Shopify.
  2. Sign in to Shopify and authorise the connection.
  3. Confirm which data you want synced.

What comes across

Customers and their order history, so surveys can be timed against actual purchases rather than sent in a batch.

Time it after delivery, not dispatch

The most common mistake with e-commerce feedback is surveying when the order ships. The customer hasn’t received anything yet. Time your survey to arrive a few days after expected delivery.

Product-level feedback

Because orders carry product detail, you can see which products generate complaints β€” usually more actionable than an overall store satisfaction score.

Set up what happens next

A connection on its own only moves data. The value comes from what you trigger with it β€” usually a survey timed to a real event rather than sent in a batch.

If the connection fails

  • Confirm your Shopify account has permission to grant access
  • Check whether your organisation restricts third-party app connections
  • If credentials recently changed, reconnect from scratch
