Connect Google Business Profile
Connecting your Google Business Profile listing, and what to check if it doesn't sync.
Google is where most local businesses get most of their reviews. If you connect one thing, connect this.
Connect it
- Open the connections area of your workspace and choose Google Business Profile.
- Search for your business by name and location.
- Confirm the correct listing from the results — check the address, not just the name.
- Authorise the connection if prompted.
The first sync pulls your review history, not just new reviews. Depending on volume this takes anywhere from a few minutes to a couple of hours.
You’ll need
Access to the Google Business Profile for your business — as owner or manager. If someone else set it up, you’ll need them to grant you access, or to connect it themselves.
Find the right listing
Search by business name and city. If you have several branches, check the street address on each result — connecting the wrong branch is the most common setup mistake, and multi-branch businesses often have near-identical listings.
Multiple locations
Connect each location separately. Per-location reporting is where the useful comparisons live — an average across all sites hides the one that’s struggling.
If your listing doesn’t appear
Usually one of:
- Your listing isn’t verified with Google yet — unverified listings can’t be fully managed
- You have access to the Google account but not to the business listing itself
- The business was recently created, merged or renamed and Google hasn’t finished reindexing
Try searching with just the business name, then narrowing by city. If it still doesn’t appear, send us a link to your listing and we’ll connect it from our side.
After connecting
Once reviews are syncing, decide how you want them handled — automatically, or with your approval first.
