Connect OpenTable

Connecting your OpenTable listing, and what to check if it doesn't sync.

Updated Available on Free Agent Pro Agent Advanced Agent Enterprise

OpenTable reviews come from diners who definitely visited, since they’re tied to a booking — which makes them unusually reliable.

Connect it

  1. Open the connections area of your workspace and choose OpenTable.
  2. Search for your business by name and location.
  3. Confirm the correct listing from the results — check the address, not just the name.
  4. Authorise the connection if prompted.

The first sync pulls your review history, not just new reviews. Depending on volume this takes anywhere from a few minutes to a couple of hours.

You’ll need

Access to your OpenTable restaurant account.

Verified diners

Because reviews are attached to real reservations, OpenTable feedback is less prone to the fake and mistaken reviews that affect open platforms. Weight it accordingly.

Multiple restaurants

Connect each separately.

If your listing doesn’t appear

Usually one of:

  • The restaurant account access has changed
  • The restaurant is not currently accepting bookings
  • The listing was recently transferred between owners

Try searching with just the business name, then narrowing by city. If it still doesn’t appear, send us a link to your listing and we’ll connect it from our side.

After connecting

Once reviews are syncing, decide how you want them handled — automatically, or with your approval first.
