Connect Yelp
Connecting your Yelp listing, and what to check if it doesn't sync.
Yelp matters most for US restaurants and service businesses, where it can carry more weight in local decisions than its review volume suggests.
Connect it
- Open the connections area of your workspace and choose Yelp.
- Search for your business by name and location.
- Confirm the correct listing from the results — check the address, not just the name.
- Authorise the connection if prompted.
The first sync pulls your review history, not just new reviews. Depending on volume this takes anywhere from a few minutes to a couple of hours.
You’ll need
Your Yelp business page, ideally claimed.
Claim your page first
Yelp pages exist whether or not you created them. If yours is unclaimed, claim it on Yelp before connecting — an unclaimed page limits what you can do with it.
Yelp’s review filter
Yelp algorithmically hides some reviews as ‘not recommended’. Those aren’t visible publicly and won’t appear here either. If your count looks lower than expected, this is usually why.
If your listing doesn’t appear
Usually one of:
- The page isn’t claimed yet
- You’re looking at a duplicate page
- Reviews are being filtered by Yelp’s recommendation software
Try searching with just the business name, then narrowing by city. If it still doesn’t appear, send us a link to your listing and we’ll connect it from our side.
After connecting
Once reviews are syncing, decide how you want them handled — automatically, or with your approval first.
