QR codes for touchpoints
One survey, many codes: generate a QR code per touchpoint and every scan arrives already tagged.
You build a survey once. You generate a QR code for each place you’ll put it — and each code carries its touchpoint, so a scan on the room door and a scan at the front desk arrive already told apart.
Generating a code
From any survey, open QR code. Under Where will this code be placed?, pick a touchpoint — or leave it empty for a code that isn’t tied to one. Download the PNG. Repeat for the next room, table or desk: same survey, different touchpoint.
The QR Code skill works the same way: pick the touchpoint alongside the connected survey, and the code it generates is tagged.
What the guest sees
The survey, exactly as usual. The touchpoint rides on the link (?touchpoint=…) and never appears on screen. If a code is scanned after its touchpoint was deleted, the survey still opens — the response just lands on the default for QR scans.
Printing tips
- Use H error correction (the default) — it survives a coffee stain on a table tent.
- Keep the code at least 2 cm across; a phone should read it from a comfortable arm’s length.
- Name the downloaded files by touchpoint. Fifty identical-looking PNGs is a mistake you only make once.
- Put the question on the sign, not just the code: “How was your stay? Scan to tell us — 30 seconds.”
Reading the results
Open Surveys and filter by touchpoint, or look at Sentiment by touchpoint on the same page. A code with plenty of scans and low sentiment is a place with a problem. A code with no scans is a sign nobody’s noticing — move it.
