Ask every client after the work is done
Unhappy clients often leave without a word. Here is what each one costs, and a simple way to ask everyone after the work is done.

When does your firm ask a client how things are going?
For most firms, the honest answer is never. Or once a year, across a conference table, where everyone is polite.
Are you happy with how it's going? Yes, all good.
Then the renewal comes around, and they have gone to another firm. No argument. No warning.
A client paying two hundred dollars a month is twenty four hundred dollars a year. Most firms would do a great deal to win that client. Very few do anything to check they are staying.
So ask at the moments that matter. After the first month. After a big deadline. After a project closes. Never in the same email as the invoice.
One question, by email. How are we doing? It takes them ten seconds.
The work was good, but I had to chase three times for an update.
That is a client telling you how to keep them. While there is still time to do it.
FeedbackRobot sends the check-ins for you, and brings every answer to one inbox, so a partner can pick up the phone the same day.
Next: turn happy clients into proof.
Why it matters
Plenty of unhappy clients never complain. They say everything was fine, and you never find out why they did not return.
Say they paid two hundred dollars a month. That is twenty four hundred dollars a year, gone without a word.
The happy ones tell you what to keep. The unhappy ones tell you what to fix, privately, before it becomes a review.
