Embed a Customer Feedback Survey on Any Webpage
Add FeedbackRobot's survey widget to your website, app, or portal with a single line of code — and start collecting feedback from visitors without any redirects.
Why it matters
Not every customer feedback touchpoint needs an email or a QR code. Sometimes the right moment is right there on your website — on the post-purchase confirmation page, inside your customer portal, on your onboarding completion screen, or embedded in your support documentation. An embedded survey meets customers at that exact moment, in the context of the experience you want feedback on, without asking them to do anything different.
FeedbackRobot's Embed skill generates a lightweight JavaScript snippet you can drop into any webpage. When a visitor lands on the page, the survey appears inline or as a pop-up — configured however fits your page's UX. For SaaS products, this is particularly valuable on milestone pages: the moment a user completes setup, finishes onboarding, or reaches a key feature for the first time is when their experience is most vivid and their willingness to share it is highest.
The embed loads asynchronously and has no impact on your page speed or Core Web Vitals. Responses flow into your FeedbackRobot Radar inbox exactly like any other integration — segmented by sentiment, flagged if negative, and available for Spotlight if positive. One snippet, deployed once, collecting feedback continuously.
About
Embed
On-site feedback collection fills a gap that email surveys and QR codes cannot: the in-session moment. A customer browsing your support documentation has a specific question in mind. A user completing your onboarding flow has just formed their first impression of your product. A visitor landing on your post-checkout confirmation page is at peak satisfaction — or dissatisfaction. Email surveys sent hours or days later cannot capture these moments with the same fidelity.
For SaaS products and service businesses with web portals, embedded surveys are often the highest-quality feedback channel available — because the context is unambiguous. The customer knows exactly what experience they're being asked about, and they're providing feedback in the same session where the experience occurred.
FeedbackRobot's embed is designed to be non-intrusive: it does not block page content, does not require a cookie consent override, and does not affect your site's performance metrics. It appears at the moment you configure — after a scroll depth, after a time delay, or triggered by a specific user action — and disappears after submission without disrupting the user's session.
SETUP
How it works
Create an Embed skill in Settings → Skills and build your survey template
Configure the display trigger: inline form, slide-in widget, exit intent, or time delay
Copy the embed snippet — one line of JavaScript
Paste it into your webpage, CMS, or web app before the closing body tag. Responses flow into Radar in real time.

FAQ
Frequently
Asked Questions
Will the embedded survey slow down my website?
No. FeedbackRobot's embed snippet loads asynchronously — it does not block page rendering or affect your Largest Contentful Paint, Interaction to Next Paint, or Cumulative Layout Shift scores.
Can I embed the survey on multiple pages with different questions?
Yes. Create separate Embed skills with different survey templates for different pages — product feedback on your feature pages, onboarding feedback on your setup completion screen, support quality feedback in your help centre.
What trigger options are available?
You can configure the survey to appear immediately on page load, after a set scroll depth percentage, after a time delay in seconds, or as an exit-intent trigger when the user moves to leave the page. Each trigger option is configurable in your Embed skill settings.
Do embed responses appear in the same dashboard as my other integrations?
Yes. All responses — regardless of which integration collected them — flow into the same FeedbackRobot Radar inbox. You can filter by integration source to view embed responses separately.
