Customer Import
Customer Import fills the gap between having customer data and having a feedback loop. The Customer Import skill turns any of those sources into a feedback campaign in minutes.
For professional services businesses — agencies, consultancies, law firms, accountants — customer relationships are often managed in tools that have no FeedbackRobot integration. Client lists live in project management tools, billing systems, or simply in a shared spreadsheet. Customer Import is the practical answer: export your client list, upload it, send a satisfaction survey, collect the responses. No technical setup required.
Customer Import is also the recommended approach for businesses running periodic feedback campaigns — annual NPS surveys, quarterly check-ins, or post-event satisfaction studies — where a one-time send is more appropriate than a continuous trigger-based workflow. What format does my CSV need to be in?
FeedbackRobot's Customer Import accepts a standard CSV with at minimum a name column and an email column. Phone is optional for SMS delivery. Download our CSV template from the import screen to ensure correct formatting before uploading.
Is there a limit on how many customers I can import at once?
Import limits vary by plan. For large imports, we recommend splitting into batches of 1,000 contacts for best deliverability. Check your current plan's limits in Settings → Skills.
Can I schedule the survey send for a future date?
Yes. After importing your customer list and selecting a survey template, you can schedule the send for a specific date and time rather than sending immediately — useful for timing your survey to arrive at the optimal moment for your audience.
Are imported customers added to my permanent contact list?
Imported contacts are stored in FeedbackRobot for the duration of the campaign. You can choose to retain them for future campaigns or remove them after the send completes. Contacts are never shared or used outside your account.
