Use this for any 5-star review with a written comment. For 5-star reviews with no text (just stars), a shorter response is appropriate: "Thank you for the 5 stars, [NAME]! Hope to see you again soon." For 4-star reviews, use the standard positive review response template instead.
CUSTOMIZATION TIPS
Match their energy — if they wrote 3 enthusiastic paragraphs, give a warm, multi-sentence response. If they wrote a short sentence, keep your reply equally brief.
Staff recognition responses are powerful — they show other readers that your team is individually excellent, not just a faceless operation, and they build loyalty with the employee mentioned.
Avoid repeating "amazing", "wonderful", or "great" — these are overused and read as filler. Substitute with something concrete: "it means a lot that you noticed," "this is the kind of feedback that keeps us going."
Don't include promotional content or discount codes in your response — it makes the response feel mercenary.
Can I use the same 5-star response template for every review?
No — if your responses all look the same, customers and Google will notice. The minimum variation required is the specific reference in the middle sentence. Change that one sentence for every review and the rest of the structure can stay consistent.
Should I respond to 5-star reviews without text?
A brief response is still worthwhile — it signals activity on your profile. Keep it to one sentence: "Thank you for the 5 stars, [NAME] — we hope to see you again soon!" That's enough.
